Prof. Bat-Sheva Hadad is a Full Professor of Cognitive Development and Head of the Laboratory for Cognitive Development at the University of Haifa.

Her research investigates how perceptual and cognitive systems develop, specialize, and adapt across childhood, adulthood, and aging.

Using behavioral psychophysics, computational modeling, and large-scale lifespan studies, Prof. Hadad examines the mechanisms that shape visual perception, magnitude processing, and sensory integration, with a particular focus on atypical development in autism.
